TYPE 2 DIABETES
RESEARCH STUDY

ARE YOU USING MEDICATIONS FOR YOUR TYPE 2 DIABETES BUT THEY AREN’T WORKING WELL ENOUGH?

For millions of Americans, living with type 2 diabetes is an ongoing challenge and the medical community is hard at work to identify and improve treatments to manage the disease. There are a variety of common non-insulin treatments for type 2 diabetes, however, they are not always effective in reducing blood sugar levels to an acceptable level.

Our Study

We are conducting a research study in Bell Gardens to evaluate an investigational medication for people with type 2 diabetes who are taking one, two, or three oral diabetes medications, but they are not reducing blood sugar levels enough.

You May Qualify if You:

  • Are between 18 and 75 years old
  • Have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes at least 6 months ago
  • Have an A1C between 7.5 and 11
  • Have been on a stable dose of at least one, but up to three, oral medications for diabetes for at least three months

Participants Receive:

  • Study-related care at no cost
  • Study-related investigational medication at no cost
  • Compensation for time and travel
