PRURIGO NODULARIS
RESEARCH STUDY

Clinical Research Study Evaluating the Safety and Effectiveness of an Investigational Medication to Treat Prurigo Nodularis

Prurigo Nodularis (PN) is a skin disease that causes hard, itchy lumps (nodules) to form on the skin. The itching can be intense, causing people to scratch themselves to the point of bleeding or pain. Scratching can cause more skin lesions to appear. Although scratching is known to cause more nodules to appear, it is unclear what causes the itching to develop in the first place. We are seeking qualified participants from the Houston area who have severe itching related to Prurigo Nodularis.

We are Looking for Qualified Participants Who:

  • Are between the ages of 18 and 75
  • Were diagnosed with Prurigo Nodularis at least 3 months ago
  • Have Prurigo Nodularis in more than one area of your body
  • Additional study criteria may apply

Qualified Participants May Receive:

  • Study-related medical evaluation at no cost
  • Investigational medication being evaluated for safety and effectiveness in treating Prurigo Nodularis, or placebo, at no cost
  • Reimbursement for time and travel may be available
