If you started feeling symptoms of the flu within the past 48 hours, you might qualify for a clinical research study.

The flu is a serious illness that leads to approximately 20,000 hospitalizations every year. The medical community is hard at work to improve flu treatments. If you think you have the flu, you may qualify for a research study evaluating a potential new medication underway in St. George.

You May Qualify for the Study if You:

Are between 18-65 years old
Have a temperature of 99.1 to 102.8
Have at least one of the following: stuffy nose, sore throat, or cough AND
At least one of the following: aches or pains, fatigue, headache, chills or sweats
Have NOT had the flu shot within the past 21 days

Participants Will Receive:

Study-related medical care at no cost
Study-related medications at no cost
Compensation for time and travel
