Is Your Teenager Living with Eczema?

About Eczema

Atopic dermatitis – also known as Eczema – is a condition that makes the skin red and itchy. It creates a seemingly endless “itch cycle”, in which the urge to itch only adds to the symptoms and distress they cause, both inside and out. Unfortunately, many of the common topical (on the skin) treatments do not adequately control eczema, which can often lead to discomfort, both inside and out.

Our Study

Alliance Dermatology in Phoenix is looking for adolescents age 12-17 with Eczema who have been unsuccessfully treated using medications such as topical steroids to evaluate an investigational oral medication hoped to better treat the symptoms.

We Are Looking for Participants Who:

  • Are between the ages of 12 and 17
  • Have Eczema on at least 10% of their body.

Participants May Receive:

  • Study-related care and study medication from a dermatologist at no cost
  • Compensation for time and travel.
