RSV VACCINE
RESEARCH STUDY

Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) causes colds and more serious respiratory illnesses such as pneumonia in the elderly.

RSV is a very common, contagious virus that causes infections of the respiratory tract. There is no vaccine yet to prevent RSV infection, but researchers are working hard to develop one, including here in West Palm Beach.

Palm Beach Research is looking for healthy volunteers of all ages, but specifically volunteers aged 65 to 79 to participate in a research study evaluating a potential RSV vaccine. In this study, researchers want to learn how well this investigational vaccine works in helping to protect against the RSV germs and how safe this investigational vaccine is.

About 460 children and adults will take part in this study at research centers all around the country.

To see if you are eligible, please complete the form or call Palm Beach Research at 561-567-8537. If you qualify and participate, you will be compensated up to $500.
