About Endometriosis

Endometriosis is an often painful disorder in which tissue similar to the tissue that normally lines the inside of your uterus grows outside your uterus. Pain is the most common symptom that can occur during a period or not and when having intercourse. It can also make getting pregnant difficult.

Our Study

Penn State Health in Hershey is looking for women who suffer from moderate to severe endometriosis-associated pain to evaluate the study medication, quinagolide.

 Am I Eligible?

In order to participate, you must have moderate-to-severe pain caused by endometriosis and meet the following criteria:

  • Have regular menstrual cycles (24-35 days)
  • Have moderate to severe pain from endometriosis
  • Have not reached menopause
  • Not be pregnant and not be trying to get pregnant
  • Be willing to report your pain level daily in an electronic diary

Participants Will Receive:

  • Study-related medical care at no cost
  • Study-related medications at no cost
  • Compensation for time and travel may be available
