HIGH CHOLESTEROL
RESEARCH STUDY IN TAMPA

Researching an investigational treatment for hypercholesterolemia (high cholesterol).

Researchers at ForCare Clinical Research in Tampa are looking for adults with high cholesterol to take part in a clinical research study. This study is evaluating an investigational oral medication as a potential treatment for high cholesterol.

Adults who are taking a stable dose of one or more lipid-lowering therapies for at least 30 days OR have not received treatment with any lipid-lowering therapy for a least 30 days may be eligible.

You May Qualify if You:

  • Are 18 to 80 years old
  • Have high cholesterol
  • Have a history of CVD, such as heart attack, stroke, angina, peripheral artery disease, or a narrowed or blocked artery OR Have factors that increase (change) your risk of CVD, such as diabetes, certain types of familial hypercholesterolemia, high blood pressure, and/or tobacco use (smoking)
  • Have not changed your cholesterol medicine (if you take any) for at least 1 month

Your health will be monitored carefully by the study team throughout the study. All study-related medications and assessments will be provided at no cost to you.

Reimbursement for time and travel may be provided.
