RESEARCH STUDY
FOR MIGRAINE HEADACHES

Dealing with migraines can be frustrating when nothing seems to help.

Palmetto Clinical Research Services in Greenville is enrolling adults who suffer from episodic migraines to participate in a research study of an investigational medication to see if it can help prevent or reduce the severity of migraine headaches. This study is for adults who experience an average of 7 to 14 migraine days per month.

Many approved medications to help keep migraines from starting do not work very well. This research study is seeking people who have tried at least one migraine prevention medication that either did not work or that caused side effects.

This research study will evaluate an investigational medication designed to help reduce the frequency and severity of migraines. All study medication, study visits, and study procedures are provided at no charge, and medical insurance is not needed.

There is no cure for migraines and new medications can only be approved with the help of Research Study Rockstars.

We Are Looking for Participants Who:

  • Are 18 years old or older
  • Average 7 to 14 migraine days per month
  • Have been experiencing migraines for at least 1 year
  • Have tried and stopped at least 1 preventative migraine medication
  • Use an oral triptan to treat migraine at least 4 times per month

Participants May Receive:

  • Study-related medical care at no cost
  • Investigational medication from a local physician at no cost
  • Compensation for time and travel
