RESEARCH STUDY
FOR DERMATOMYSITIS

Dermatomyositis is an inflammatory disease of the skin and muscles.

Help our drive to re-shape dermatomyositis treatment by participating in a research study at Metroplex Clinical Research Center in Dallas.

The purpose of this study is to compare the effectiveness and safety of an investigational oral medication to an existing oral background therapy in adults with dermatomyositis. Approximately 225 participants are expected to take part in this study.

You May Qualify if You:

Are 18-74 years of age or older
Have a confirmed diagnosis of dermatomyositis
Are taking stable dose of corticosteroid up to 20mg/day

There are other criteria that you will need to meet to qualify, which the study team will discuss with you.

Participants May Receive:

Study medications and examinations at no cost
Reimbursement for time and travel
