MIGRAINE RESEARCH
FOR CHILDREN AND TEENS 12 TO 17 YEARS OLD

Watching a child have to deal with migraines can be frustrating when nothing seems to help.

Not just adults get migraine, children do too. Researchers found that up to 10% of school-age children have headache attacks that cause pain and leave them unable to function properly. Children and teens who suffer from migraine may end up missing school, not participating in activities they love, and feeling isolated because they are unable to spend time with friends.

Dr. Dario Altamirano at AGA Clinical Trials in Miami is running a research study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of an investigational treatment for chronic migraine for children and teens 12 to 17 years old.
