Researching a potential new way to help people with COPD

Local researchers are looking for volunteers who may be interested in taking part in a clinical research study, called the RPL554-CO-302 Study. This study is evaluating how safe an investigational medication is and whether it works for people with moderate-to-severe Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). COPD is a group of lung diseases, including emphysema and chronic bronchitis.

You may be eligible to participate in this COPD research study if you:

  • Are 40–80 years of age
  • Have been diagnosed with COPD
  • Have been, or currently are, a cigarette smoker

Your health will be monitored carefully by a team of doctors and nurses throughout the study. All study-related medications and assessments will be provided at no cost to you.

Compensation up to $860 for time and travel may be provided.
