Can Certain Berries Improve Our Health?

Our Study

Researchers at Colorado State University are seeking participants for a research study examining effects of a natural dietary supplement made from the Aronia Berry (also known as chokeberry) on cardiovascular and gastrointestinal health.

We Are Looking for People Who:

  • Are healthy men and post-menopausal women between the ages of 45-75 years of age
  • Do NOT currently have diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure or cancer
  • Do not smoke or consume excessive amounts of alcohol
  • Are willing to make 6 follow-up visits to the CSU campus for evaluation

Participants Will Receive:

  • Receive up to $300 for time and travel
  • Dietary supplements containing Aronia Berry extract
  • Study-related care and monitoring
