For millions of Americans, living with Type 2 Diabetes is an ongoing challenge – and the medical community is hard at work to identify and improve treatments to manage the disease. Metformin is one of the most common non-insulin treatments for Type 2 Diabetes, however, it is not always effective in reducing blood sugar to an acceptable level.
We are conducting a research study in your area to evaluate an investigational medication for Type 2 Diabetics who rely on Metformin either alone, or in combination with other medications.
In order to participate, you must have an existing diagnosis of Type 2 Diabetes, and only rely on Metformin (such as Glucophage, Glumetza and Fortamet) as part of your treatment plan.
