RESEARCH STUDY
FOR GOUT

Gout is a form of arthritis that attacks joints. Symptoms of gout include severe pain, redness, and swelling in joints. Attacks can come suddenly, often at night. The small joint at the base of the big toe is the most common site for an attack. Other joints that can be affected include the ankles, knees, wrists, fingers, and elbows. Certain medications reduce the pain and inflammation of gout attacks, such as anti-inflammatory drugs, but there is no cure. Researchers are hard at work to try to find effective treatments for Gout.

ForCare Clinical Research needs volunteers in the Tampa area who have uncontrolled gout to participate in this research study.

Participants Receive:

  • Study-related medical care at no cost
  • Study-related medications at no cost
