COVID-19
RESEARCH STUDY

A Study of a Potential Treatment for Severe COVID-19 Infection Underway in Your Area

Our Study

There is no cure for COVID-19. Right now, researchers are evaluating an oral medication to see if it can be a treatment for people who are suffering with severe symptoms of COVID-19 and have been hospitalized.

While not yet approved for COVID-19, the medication being studied is currently approved by the United States FDA for use in multiple myeloma (a type of cancer). If you or a loved one has tested positive for COVID-19 and has been hospitalized, you may qualify.

Clinical research studies are the most vital part of the development of much-needed treatments for this global pandemic. Participation in clinical research is the only way for people to contribute to the worldwide search for COVID-19 treatments.

We are looking for participants who have had a positive test for COVID-19 and are experiencing symptoms of severe disease who have been hospitalized but are not receiving oxygen therapy (including, but not limited to endotracheal intubation and mechanical ventilation or oxygen delivered by high-flow nasal cannula).

In order to participate, you (or a loved one) must:

  • Be 18 or older
  • Have a postive test for COVID-19
  • Have symptoms of severe COVID-19
  • Have been hospitalized for COVID-19 within the past 48 hours
