URINARY TRACT INFECTION
RESEARCH STUDY

Experiencing the symptoms of a UTI?

About Urinary Tract Infections

A urinary tract infection (UTI) is an infection in any part of your urinary system — your kidneys, ureters, bladder and urethra. Most infections involve the lower urinary tract — the bladder and the urethra.

Women are at greater risk of developing a UTI than are men. Infection limited to your bladder can be painful and annoying. However, serious consequences can occur if a UTI spreads to your kidneys.

Symptoms of UTI

  • A strong, persistent urge to urinate
  • A burning sensation when urinating
  • Pelvic pain in the center of the pelvis and around the area of the pubic bone

About Our Study

Elite Clinical Trials in Blackfoot is conducting a research study to evaluate a treatment for the symptoms of UTI. We are looking for women who have been experiencing the symptoms of UTI for 3 days or less.

Participants May Receive:

  • Study-related medication and care at no cost
  • Compensation for time and travel
