Do you suffer from COPD?

Have You Had a COPD Exacerbation in the last 12 months While Being Treated With an Inhaled Maintenance Triple Therapy?

Florida Institute for Clinical Research in Orlando is looking for volunteers to participate in a clinical trial exploring an investigational add-on injectable treatment.

This Study is only for people who, for at least the last 12 months, have been prescribed COPD maintenance triple therapy (a combination of an anti-inflammatory inhaled medication and two inhaled bronchodilators).

To join our research study, potential participants must 

  • Be 40 to 85 years old
  • Have COPD and chronic bronchitis with current symptoms 
  • Be a current or former smoker who quit 
  • Have been prescribed a combination of inhalers to use every day
  •  Have had a COPD exacerbation (or worsening) that required antibiotics, corticosteroids or hospitalization within the past 12 months

Participants may receive:

  • Study-related medication at no cost
  • Study-related medical care at no cost
  • Regular appointments to see our study team
  • Health monitoring by lung specialists (pulmonologists) throughout the study
  • Compensation up to $1,100 for time and travel
