MIGRAINE RESEARCH
FOR CHILDREN AND TEENS 6 TO 17 YEARS OLD

Watching a child have to deal with migraines can be frustrating when nothing seems to help them.

Not just adults get migraine, children do too. Researchers found that up to 10% of school-age children have headache attacks that cause pain and leave them unable to function properly. Children and teens who suffer from migraine may end up missing school, not participating in activities they love, and feeling isolated because they are unable to spend time with friends.

ForCare Clinical Research in Tampa is running a research study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of rimegepant in children and teens 6 to 17 years old with moderate to severe migraine. Rimegepant is approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of migraine in adults. If you would like to know more about this study and see if it might be right for your child or teen, please complete the form to get in touch with the study coordinator.
