Crohn’s disease (CD) is an inflammatory bowel disease that causes chronic inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract. CD is a chronic disease, which means patients will likely experience periods when symptoms are active, known as flares, and other times when they are not symptomatic. Many who are diagnosed with CD try to manage their symptoms with medications, but unfortunately find they do not work well enough for them. Are you one of them?
Thousands of adults with Crohn’s disease are experiencing the same daily discomfort as you, and specialists are working hard to change that. We are conducting research studies of investigational medications aiming to treat the symptoms of Crohn’s disease, right here in Tampa — and participants are needed.
