DIABETIC PERIPHERAL NEUROPATHIC PAIN
RESEARCH STUDY

Living with constant diabetic peripheral neuropathic pain?

Diabetic peripheral neuropathy is a type of nerve damage that typically affects the feet and legs and sometimes affects the hands and arms. The pain is commonly described as a burning or electric shock-like sensation in the feet and lower extremities, although the hands can also be affected.

A research study being sponsored by Eli Lilly & Company is underway in Bay City. We are seeking adults to evaluate an investigational product for the management of diabetic peripheral neuropathic pain.

You May Qualify if You:

  • Have a history and current diagnosis of type 1 or type 2 diabetes mellitus
  • Have daily symmetrical foot pain secondary to peripheral neuropathy present for at least six months
  • Are willing to discontinue all medications taken for chronic pain conditions except rescue medication

Participants will receive study related care and investigational medication at no cost, as well as compensation for time and travel.
