RESEARCH STUDY
FOR PANIC ATTACKS

Join a Research Study Evaluating a Potential Treatment for Panic Attacks

For many, living with frequent panic attacks is an ongoing challenge. The medical community is hard at work to identify and improve treatments to help manage these attacks. If you are dealing with frequent panic attacks, you may qualify for a research study underway in the Hartford area. New treatments for panic attacks can only be developed with the help of volunteers like you.

You may qualify if you:

  • Are between 18-60 years old
  • Have been diagnosed with panic disorder or experiencing panic attacks at least once a week
  • Are otherwise medically stable

Participants may receive:

  • Study-related medical care at no cost
  • Study-related medications at no cost
  • Reimbursement for travel to site visits up to $630

If you choose to participate, you may be required to:

  • Take an investigational medication for panic disorder
  • Talk to a licensed mental health professional about your symptoms
  • Complete medical testing, such as blood work and an EKG
  • Complete surveys about how you are feeling

Complete the form to get in touch with the study coordinator.
