Is it time that men took more control?
Today, the only contraceptive options available to men are condoms and vasectomy, yet international surveys have shown that a large number of men would use a new contraceptive method if one were available. Researchers are hard at work evaluating options to let men take more control by evaluating male contraceptives, including right here in your area.
You and your female partner have the opportunity to become Research Study Rockstars and participate in a study to evaluate a gel that is applied to the skin for male contraception. The gel is a combination of two widely available hormones. The goal of the study is to develop a hormonal contraceptive method for men that proves to be effective, safe, reversible, self-delivered, and user-controlled. You and your partner can be a part of trying to make that happen.
You May Qualify if You:
- Are 18 to 50 years old
- Have been in a stable, monogamous, sexually active relationship for at least one year with a female partner between 18 and 34 years old who is willing to participate in the study with you
Participants Receive:
- Study-related medical care at no cost
- Study-related medications at no cost
