About Alopecia Areata

Alopecia Areata is an autoimmune condition that can cause severe emotional distress, including depression and anxiety  – and can get in the way of living a full life. There are no approved treatments for Alopecia Areata, but researchers are working hard to change that.

Our Study

The Indiana Clinical Trials Center in Plainfield, IN is seeking adult volunteers who have suffered at least 50% hair loss of their scalp to participate in a research study evaluating a potential treatment for Alopecia Areata.

You May Be Eligible If:

  • You’re between the ages of 16-65
  • You have a previous diagnosis of Alopecia Areata
  • You have at least 50% hair-loss as a result of Alopecia Areata for a minimum of 6 months

Qualified Participants May Receive:

  • Study-related care at no cost
  • Study-related investigational drug at no cost
  • Possible compensation for their time
