RESEARCH STUDY
FOR A PNEUMOCOCCAL VACCINE

Pneumococcal disease is an illness caused by certain germs (bacteria), called Streptococcus pneumoniae. These germs can cause serious infections in the ears, nose, lungs, blood, or brain, especially in older adults.

Vaccines help the body fight infections due to diseases like pneumococcal disease, and may help prevent serious illness. New vaccines must be tested to show that they work.

LinQ Research in Pearland is seeking healthy adults 50 and older to help evaluate an investigational pneumococcal vaccine when given with the flu vaccine.

There is no cost to participate and participants receive study-related vaccines and the flu vaccine at no cost, and will be compensated up to $570.

To see if you are eligible, please complete the form to get in touch with the study team.
