SHINGLES STILL BURNING YOU UP?

Postherpetic neuralgia (PHN) is the most common complication of shingles, It’s a painful condition that affects the nerve fibers and skin. And the pain, itching and numbness of PHN can last long after the rash and blisters of shingles disappear.

About 10 to 18% of people who get shingles will experience PHN. If you’ve been diagnosed with PHN, you may qualify to take part in this new study being conducted by Marin Endocrine Care & Research in Greenbrae. If you volunteer, you’ll be part of a group that may lead to creating a new treatment for reducing pain related to Postherpetic Neuralgia.

You May Qualify if You:

  • Are at least 18 years of age
  • Have been diagnosed with postherpetic neuralgia

Participants Receive:

  • Study-related medical care at no cost
  • Study-related medications at no cost

Compensation up to $448 for time and travel may be provided
