RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS
RESEARCH STUDY

About Rheumatoid Arthritis

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic inflammatory disorder that can affect your joint health and create significant discomfort. RA is an autoimmune disorder that occurs when your immune system mistakenly attacks your own body’s tissues.

While there are a variety of commonly prescribed medicines available, there is no cure. Also, a substantial proportion of people with RA do not respond well or can’t tolerate certain RA therapies. Therefore, there is a medical need for more effective RA treatments that work in different ways.

A research study is now underway in Dallas evaluating an investigational medication given in volunteers with active rheumatoid arthritis.

You May Qualify if You:

  • Are 50 years old or older
  • Have been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis
  • Have had an inadequate response or intolerance to at least one disease-modifying antirheumatic drug (DMARD) (synthetic or biologic)

Participants Will Receive:

  • Study-related care at no cost
  • Study-related investigational medication at no cost

Compensation for time and travel may be provided.
