HIVES
RESEARCH STUDY

If You Have Itchy Hives Most Days Even if You Use Antihistamines, a Clinical Research Study Evaluating an Investigational Medication May Be Right for You.

Hives is a common skin rash triggered by many things including certain foods, medications, and stress. Symptoms include itchy, raised, red, or skin-colored welts on the skin’s surface. Hives often go away without treatment, but medications can usually be helpful in improving symptoms.

For some people, hives come back again and again. Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria is when hives are present for most days of the week for at least 6 weeks.

Phoenician Center for Research & Innovation in Phoenix is seeking volunteers for a research study who have been diagnosed with Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria for at least 6 months, with hives present for at least 6 consecutive weeks, who have tried/are trying medications to treat their hives.

Participants May Receive:

  • Study-related medical care at no cost
  • Study-related medications at no cost
  • Compensation up to $2,230 for time and travel
