RESEARCH STUDY
for COPD with Exacerbations

Researchers at Remington-Davis Clinical Research in Columbus are looking for adults with moderate to very severe Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) with a history of exacerbations to take part in a clinical research study. This study is evaluating an investigational injectable medication as a potential treatment for COPD.

The study medication is FDA approved for asthma exacerbation and is now being tested for COPD.

You May Qualify if You:

  • Are 40 to 85 years old
  • Have a history of moderate-to-very severe COPD
  • Have used multiple types of medications to treat COPD in the past three months (this may be with one or more inhalers)
  • Have had at least 2 exacerbations in the last year that required treatment with systemic corticosteroids and/or hospitalization
  • Have been, or currently are, a cigarette smoker
  • Do NOT have an asthma diagnosis

Your health will be monitored carefully by lung specialists (pulmonologists) throughout the study. All study-related medications and assessments will be provided at no cost to you.

Participants will receive $110 for each completed planned study clinic visit.
