HIDRADENITIS SUPPURATIVA
RESEARCH STUDY

Have You Had Signs and Symptoms of Hidradenitis Suppurativa for at least 12 Months?

You may have never heard it called “Hidradenitis Suppurativa” (HS). Your doctor might have called them boils, pimples, or folliculitis. Whatever you call them, you have had to deal with the painful pea- to marble-sized lumps under the skin that tend to enlarge and drain pus. These bumps usually occur where your skin rubs together such as in the armpits, groin, and buttocks. Researchers are focused more than ever on trying to find ways to treat HS.

A research study is now underway in Ocala to evaluate an investigational medication that may treat HS.

You May Qualify if You:

  • Are 18 years old or older
  • Have had moderate to severe symptoms of HS for at least 12 months
  • Have not responded to oral antibiotics for your HS symptoms

Participants Receive:

  • Study-related medical care at no cost
  • Study-related medication at no cost
  • Reimbursement up to $1,350 for those who complete the study
