About Growth Hormone for Short Stature

Growth hormone is approved by the FDA for use in treating a number of causes of short stature, including Idiopathic Short Stature, Turner Syndrome, Noonan Syndrome and when a child is born Small for Gestational Age without catch-up growth. Most injectable growth hormone therapy is administered on a daily basis – and for any child, this only compounds the challenges of living with a growth disorder.

Our Study

A pharmaceutical company is conducting a research study in San Antonio to evaluate a once-weekly pediatric growth hormone. It is hoped that this investigational one-weekly dosage will result in comparable growth velocity despite more injection-free days. This may improve the lifestyle for both the child living with a growth disorder, as well as their caregiver.

We Are Looking for Children Living With:

Idiopathic Short Stature
Noonan Syndrome
Turner Syndrome
Small for Gestational Age
